What is the 5S?
The 5S method is one of the methods used Japanese for continuous improvement. It is an essential preliminary to any proposed improvement.
The 5S method focuses on cleanliness and good organization of work. It can be applied in the factory in the offices.
Principles of the 5S
5S's name comes from the first letter of five Japanese words: seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu and shitsuke.
